Are Fuel Pressure Regulator pt # 294 & 226 interchangable? 700 1987

Local VOLVO place gave me a FPR with pt # 0 280 160 294
Stamping said '3 bar'

my 1987 760 Turbo currently has FPR pt # 0 280 160 226

Is the new FPR interchangable, or should I take it back ?
Anybody know what the differences are btwn these FPRs?
Is 3.0 bar approx 45psi ?
