Skipping rear brake reducers/balancers/whatever they're called... 140-160

So, my 142's been having a sticky right rear brake, for who knows how long. I've thought it's been grabbing, but never really knew it for sure until last week when it got VERY tight. I then walked around the car feeling for heat from each brake caliper, it was HOT. The brake lines back there can't be more than 2.5 years old, probably younger than that. But, it's sticking non-theless, so I want to get some new hoses.

I've heard/talked about not using the rear pressure valves that reduce the amount of pressure that goes to the rear calipers when you use the brakes(don't think I'm using the right terminology), so what I want to do is skip them completely. Get some custom Stainless Steel hoses made by bringing in the old one to have them copy where it connects to the caliper, and then bringing in my reducer thing to have them make the other side of the hose match that part's connection.

Any comments?

B20Paul, was it you who said I can go without them? I don't think anyone else has said they've done it or recommend it. If it's not overly rear-biased(if at all), I want to do it. I'll take the better braking anyday. Do the little rear calipers overheat from doing this?

Thanks in advance,
Kyle
