Cruise control, Retro fit UK 700 1988

Hi all, First time I've posted because everything is usually covered in the brilliant FAQ. But this one has got me stumped so here goes.

I've managed to get hold of a complete C-control system (optional extra on the 760s in the uk) and with the FAQ printout and notes I made at the breakers installed with no prob's,
EXCEPT
From the control box (hella) Position 1 the blue/black wire. It goes to the indicator stalk multi block and from the same connection I have another blue/black wire returning loose with an unsheathed spade connecter at the end. As this was hanging loose in the doner car I have no idea where it goes, any ideas ? I'm thinking as its uninsulated maybe its an earth but thought I'd check it out first

As a confirmed 240 owner I never considered moving on to the 700's until a one lady owner 760 with full service history and 43000 miles on the clock came on ebay for £600. There really is a god! and now with lpg fitted (another scrap yard find) 460 miles for under £27 I think I have my perfect car.

Cheers everyone.
