I'm trying to help a friend with her 1991 245. Here are the symptoms...
Was running fine this morning. This afternoon she left work to go home and the car wouldn't stay running..

Cranking it over... it starts very weak... very low, bumpy idle. Then dies. At best, it will only run for a few seconds. Moving the throttle kills it instantly.

I can hear the main fuel pump running when cranking. All fuses look OK. Seems to be a fuel related issue to me (and I did check... it has 3/4 tank of gas).

Unplugging the AMM changes it to a complete no-start.

I'm hoping for suggestions.
