what is wrong with my FRONT PASS-SIDE window? 200 1989

Excellent advise in the prior posts; just a couple of additional tips: If you have access to a grinder, you can make a whole pocket full of prying-type tools out of sections from various diameters of coat hanger--very handy when you need to leave a tool in place temporarily while working on another part of the project item. Also, a transparent drycleaner bag is a good work area for things with fugacious parts--saves a lot of profanity and searching the carpet / shop floor for invisible c-clips, tiny springs, et cetera.
