Lengthing rear wheel studs... 200

The current set up I have on my car is a 1 1/4" adapter/spacer that has pushed the rear's out too far...and on heavy bumps I am getting tire rub against the wheel well inside lip.
Without getting into the whole story of how I got here, turns out I don't need the adaptor/spacer, and can get away with a 1/4" spacer and the standard bolt pattern.

But, when I add the spacer, I will only have 5/8" of bolt left to secure the nut against. Not enough in other words.

I think I have found another solution, and will be trying it in the coming weeks, I will let you know how it goes.
