lug nuts, and studs

I have had that problem many times to the point I don't like to have a shop do the rotate. They use air impact wrenches and apply way too much torque and strip the threads. Then they are nice enough to blame it on your old car. You should always use a torque wrench to 63 ft lbs.

You have to remove the rotors to get to the studs. Once you remove the rotors you can get to the hub easily. I am not sure if you can do it without removing the rotor but it would be more difficult, check the 700 FAQ for more info (they would be basically the same). If you know how to do a brake job its not too bad. If you need to do a brake job it would be a good time. You can get the studs and nuts from a online (IPD or FCP) parts seller, or your local Volvo dealer, they are not too expensive. I would try to get the tire jockeys to pay at least part. I was always able to get them to reimburse me.
