Sargents smoker has nothing on mine. 700

1990-760T-wagon-245,000mi. Recently has started smokinglike crazy. Not noticable from inside the car when driving, but don't let off the gas. If you do the cloud will appear and what an impressive cloud of blue smoke. You have to keep you foot on the gas and keep it up to about 1500 rpm and brake with your other foot to keep it from throwing out a cloud at a stop light. Anyone have any ideas on what may have happened? What did your problem end up being J. Sargent (if you are reading this}? By the way the wastegate rod has not been and is not currently connected to the turbo for quite some time. Disconnecting the wastegate rod solved an earlier problem of smoking because of the turbo.
