Driver's Side Window Installation into elevator channel strip with filler strip 200

My driver's side window on my 86 240 DL automatic non-power (manual) windowed station wagon has been falling out, jamming, or refusing to go back up. I've assembled it numerous times to get the window to work. The last time I noticed that the channel which holds the window has had its black rubber filler strip wear out and separate from the window. I went to my Volvo dealer had he gave me a new filler strip to place betweent he bottom of the window glass and the metal channel frame in which it mounted to the crank mechanism. I would like to know how one inserts the bottom of the window back on the filler strip and to get both window and filler strip inside the window channel without breaking the window?
