OEM Blackstone Radiator Fit 200 1981

Hi,

I decided to swap out my orginial all metal radiator since it is over 24 years old, for preventative maintenance.

I bought a replacement Blackstone radiator for my 245 GLT from the local dealer. It has a Al core with plastic tanks. Al core has "Blackstone" stamped on it and there is also a Valeo sticker. I assume these are the current OEM units. It is a remanufactured unit: p/n 8603894. Volvo no longer sells the new ones I was told.

The bottom of the radiator does not seem to fit the engine bay frame. Is there an adapter or special rubber mount? any DIY ideas?

There is also a hole in the plastic tank, for the temp sensor, which my car does not have. Did I get the wrong radiator, or should I buy the sensor in order to plug the hole?

Thanks for the help.
