740 GL , No spark? 700

My 740 GL 1990 176000 miles, (that I just started driving) stops sometimes when hot, but starts right up. Last week I replaced the waterpump without problems. Two days later the engine wont start. Fuses OK, battery strong. I didnt seen a spark when testing. I cleaned injectors and changed fuel filter,Fuel pressure seems OK. Today the car sat in the hot sun and started right up!
Any suggestions? New ignition wires? Crankcase ignition sensor?
