Well, not quite, Don. As I understand it, the Power Stage is in the ignition primary (toggles the coil negative side, like points). So if it fails, there will be no spark. However, there will be fuel—because the EZK CU doesn't see the problem, and lets the FI system operate.


Thus: no spark signal in the primary, and no spark—but there will be fuel.

Seems like the one exception to the no spark=no fuel rule that usually applies.

But I've sat corrected before.
