bogs from stopped only, all else good ??? 700

Hey all y'all!

I've read and printed and reread the FAQ and cannot pin point any fixes that mention this issue. Sorry if I missed it, I've missed stuff before ;)

History:
1991 740 wagon
non turbo
non abs
automatic

207k and dealer mantained (Steve of SPK Swedish confirmed this while giving it a quick look as he was fixing an issue I had with the driver side rear shock).

I bought this car 2 weeks ago, runs great, starts great... pulling ~20mpg but I know some tune up work should be done. First off was the molded hose and flame trape. The hose had split and trap clogged, so I ordered one of the master kits pjhannon sells on eBay.

Well after Steve reattached my rear shock I got home and the trap kit was delivered. I waited for the car to cool and installed the kit. My car still has this nasty hesitation when you floor it (or just give it more then a slight amout of throttle). The tach stays steady, but the car has ZERO power. Once it hits ~5mph it goes nice and strong it's just when stopped and trying to take off into traffic.

Steve is going to give me a couple pieces he thinks might be the cause as a way to swap and test... but said y'all are in the know and I might want to post here for some insight.

Thanks in advance, let me know if I missed any critical info.
