Hello All,

I'm happy to report that the 122S has survived its first road test and should be ready for a saftey inspection this week. I took it for a long shake down cruise and everthing worked just as it should...except for 3rd gear. When I try the shift from 2nd to 3rd it has to be double clutched or jammed (not good, but no grinding noise either). The down shift from 4th to 3rd is smooth as silk and first to second is fine as well.

What's wrong? Is it the syncro or something else? How hard is it to replace the synchro, and are there other things in there that should be swapped. I'm not in a rush, but with only a couple weeks of good weather remaining, I want to drive it, not fix it...can it wait until winter?
