auto .transmission behavior acting up again 200 1990

hello bricksters , i have a problem with the auto trans again after it was rebuilt two months ago. When the trans first started to act up it would travel with a stop and go motion in reverse and work fine in all forward positions. after several months of this the trans started to slip leak oil and go so bad it could only be driven a short distance before it would slip and almost not move. so then we had the trans. rebuilt against my better judement but we needed the car. Since the rebuild we returned it once because it was starting to act like it was slipping in reverse again. we got it back and now it is acting like it is slipping again. the rebuild shop said that it needs a carrier bearing but i dont think it has anything to do with this the car has 126,000 mi. which is not very much . anyone have any experience with this? thanks Rich
