That's where mine HAS got power.
Then, my 1987 B230K (in its original shape) is a bit different than your B230F.
Mine has a dual stage twin barrel carburettor, 1:10.5 compression and the T cam. Great for stop-and-go traffic, but it more or less dies over 4-5000 RPM. Oh, and if the timing belt breaks, I'm broke too.
