You might check around with the different SU guys and see if they might sell you a refurbished set and give you back some $ for your "cores" after you switch them out.

Or just get some other worn SU's from a Brickboarder or Ebay and have those done. They go for very cheap. Some people really think SU's are junk, and they are wrong. Ain't the best, ain't the worst.

I have a worn pair but they are missing one of the dashpot damper rods. But the car ran with them until I replaced them with Ztherapy SU's.

Anyhow just wanted to remind you there are other ways of getting around it.

But there are some that have rebushed at home so it can be done. Maybe post a question regarding that, I'll bet you find some other solutions.
