760 and the downside of IRS, the CV joints 700 1988

As I was pulling into my driveway today, I noticed that during hard left turns, I hear a rumble coming from the right rear quarter of my 760. Godd*mn CV joints...

Now, here's my question for all of you experts out there: What's my path of least resistance? Instead of taking the axle out and replacing broken bits, should I just toss the whole right side CV axle and just stick a new one in there? I can't seem to be able to find prices for them online, what should I expect to pay (aftermarket / Volvo)?
