Weber DGV hot start difficulty 120-130

Tom

The performance jetting kit was from the speed shop, a place called Top-End Performance in N. Hollywood, CA.

There is only one small brass tube sticking out of the carb top. It leads into the secondary barrel of carb.

Pulled it out with a pair of pliers, and plugged the hole with the JB Weld. I heard that a piece of toothpick also works (seems like a good idea if you wanted to remove it and go back to the original setup)

As mentioned, this modification made a huge difference in the Weber performance on my vehicle (before I rebuilt the engine). Since I'm still breaking in the new engine,I haven't really gone too crazy with pedal yet to see what's up.
