Hello All,

Having picked up an underhood light at the JY for the engine compartment, I'd like to make the electrical hookup.

Obviously it needs power all the time, but I don't want to tie into a 12v source that is inappropriate, nor do I want the light power wire run in a haphazard way. The original wire runs through the inside of the hood and pokes out at the drivers side hood hinge, runs down the hinge, and then finds it's way into the harness.

Suggestions on making this electrical connection after running along the hood hinge would be appreciated.
