HELP!!! Fuel Pump Failure 120-130

Ouch... sounds like a bad fuel pump.. bad metal. I've taken out cheapo aftermarket pumps and found that arm to be cracked. Or... did you have the phenolic spacer in place? If not, that could do it.

As for the broken piece... well, nowhere for that piece to go really except into the oil pan, and once it makes its way down there, I doubt it would do any harm. Were it me, if the car runs and doesn't make any wierd noises, I'd just leave it be. Only way to extract it that I can think would be to remove the oil pan, and the easiest way to do that is to pull the engine first.

Fairly slim chance you could get it with a magnetic drain plug, but it would have to come out just the right way.
