tach dead 900

Dear Brickboard Gods

Puzzling problem with 940T. Car starts fine however tach only jumps
immediately when car starts.I was under the impression that there
should be movement of tach needle while cranking. That is not happenning
and I have replaced the rpm sensor 6 months ago. Also removed and cleaned
the ignition module and applied dialectric grease. Unless the rpm sensor
I bought decided to fail, however if that was the case the car would not
start at all. Any help to solve this nightmare would be great.

Thank You
red 940t
