My car also doesnt have the hose that goes from the air cleaner to the exhaust manifold (i think its a crimpled aluminum hose). Could that have anything to do with it? If no, i think i'm going to have to give in and go to a mechanic because i dont have time to deal with it correctly here at school. Is anyone from the pittsburgh area? Supposedly Dean's Garage has a good reputation and specializes in volvos. We'll see.
By the way, sorry about the multiple posts earlier, I was using a terrible internet connection which was telling me it wasnt sending, but apparenly it was. Thanks for the responses.
