very wet carpet on passenger side 700 1986

the drought here in south texas has broken and after leaving my 86 745 in the parking lot for one day of t'storms,,,the passenger side carpet (front is worse that the back) is soaked....
I've read teh FAQ's and if it was the sunroof, the headliner would be wet. Headliner seems to be dry.
Where should I look first? My tube of silicon is ready to get to work.
I will go lay down in the wet to see if the drain from the A/C is clogged up.
