Electric Speedometer problem, wish info. 200 1990

The three pin connector will lose its contact force with the speedometer's card edge. The pins need to be removed and retensioned - the housing unfolds. I think the anti-tamper clip did more than provide tamper evidence with regard to support for that connector.

If you've had the cluster apart much before, there's a flex circuit fuse in series with the speedometer's power that can get into trouble at the ends where screws make the contact. Not likely if the cluster isn't a frequent workbench visitor.
