Strange wind noise, going nuts!

This is the strangest problem I have ever had with a car. I have a 92 240, when going between about 65-75 mph I hear a noise that sounds like it comes from behind the radio. It is definitely wind related and not mechanical. It sounds like an old warning buzzer, or some reed type horn. Once it starts it keeps going at the same frequency, it does not really change with speed except to stop or start. The first time I heard it I thought it was some type of warning but by driving with the power off I decided it could not be that. Any ideas at all?

Thanks,

Ron
