Ok, i have a 1982 244Turbo. After i bought it about two months ago, it had some alternator problems. so i bought one from a parting 81 GLT wagon. it would charge fantastically somtimes, and other times be at about 10.5 to 11 on my in car volt meter.

Ok, i am driving to school, my cd player turns off. Then my idle drops below 1000rpms. Then when i turn off my lights the car's idle jumps up to normal. Then i turned off the car, and now it wont start. HELP! When i turn the key it makes a clicking noise, but there isnt even any chug to attempt to turn over...

this is my second alternator doing the same thing as the first. bad ground wires? or somthing else? PLEASE HELP A NEWBIE BRICKER!
