561 white label ecu 200 1989

Had a no start condition so I picked up a spare AMM and a white label 561 from the pick a part. $60 for both and it turns out that the AMM fixed the problem.

Anyway, I did a search on ecu's but couldn't find an answer. The original ecu is a pink label 556 and works fine. I have read that the pink label 561's are trouble and that the white label 561's are better and the 951's are really good. Is that still the going thought? Do all of the white label 561's have the new circuitry in them or only some?

Thanks!
