Electrical glitch-- S90-V90

My guess is that the wire at the connection is/was corroded.

For a good electrical connection you can't beat soldering it. If the solder won't wet and flow well you know corrosion is in the way and the wire and/or terminals need to be cleaned.

I think many of the connections on our cars are actually welded at the factory.

It takes very little resistance due to corrosion to start a run-away failure. A little resistance causes heating which corrodes faster which causes more heating which.........
