Air slide options 140-160 1972

I addition to what Phil said: if your AAV failed in the open position, consider yourself lucky and splice the electrically controled valve into the rubber hose going into the manifold aft of the throttle plate, ground it on the cold start injector base and take power from the far right terminal on the relay closest to the hood hinge on the passenger side. Actually any power source that is hot when the fuel injection is on will do. That's how I did mine, and it works like a charm -- 15 minute fix after you've acquired the electrical AAV. If you want a picture, let me know.
