Steering wheel wont return to center. 200

The wheel wont return to center on its own when it's at or close to full lock. I can drive circles in a parking lot with my arms crossed on my chest. In fact, the steering in general has been a little rougher and heavier lately.

For some reason, I got the idea in my head that this is an early sign of strut bearing failure but I can't find any reference to back that up.

The ball joints and tie rod assemblies are recently replaced. The struts are Boge gas with about 50K on them.

Your comments are appreciated.
