I guess I'm doing something different... 444-544

All your posts make me feel like I'm an outsider again...

I have a 1964 PV544, with a 1975 B20 engine and automatic transmission, dual SU-H6 carburators replacing the engine's original fuel injection. Rear end gear is 4.11:1. I'd love to change the rear gearset for a 3.73 or higher...

I get a minimum of 30 mpg in town and 37 out on the highway. On trips I usually put in about 9 gallons per 300 miles. I keep more accurate records in the car, but it's dark out so I don't want to go get them.

Of course, it takes me forever to get anywhere, but then again, I'm not in any big hurry!
