late engine into 122 wagon 120-130

you're right there was a motor/tranny from a late 240 series on ebay not too far from me pretty cheap.
thanx for your cars info. my '66 wagon has the b20 block with a b18 head(?) SU carbs, stock tranny w/ a non work OD unit right now. stock 456 gears so i don't get your mileage, my engine needs a rebuild and was hoping the slant engine could be used using B18/20 mounts and oil pan(?).
any idea what gears were used in the 142/4s? or if they'll bolt into my wagon? there's a donor 142 in the local pik-a-part so i could grab the front rotors as well.
