Air inlet grill removal need HELP!!! 700

I'm trying to remove the air inlet grill (87 740 sedan) in front of the windshield. I have removed wipers grouments and 3 bolts (2 (one on each end) and one in center) but I can't seem to get the grill to come off. I have pushed and pulled with little luck. Does the moulding have to come off first between the grill and windshield? Then do you push towards windshield or pull towards engine. Read FAQ but it is not clear.

Please explain what to do after the bolts are out.

Thanks for any advise!!!
