Testing Fuel Pump 200 1980

Thanks for the help. Good to know the fuel system info.
When I hooked a battery to the pump, I grounded the pump to the battery to remove ground wire suspicion. If the new pump doesn't work I'll definitely check the ground. I'm also assuming that the tank pump is still working as I think it would be unlikely that they would both die at the same time. Can you hear the tank pump if you try to start the car?
