Pump Gaskets 120-130

Cork MIGHT seal but remember that this gasket also has to provide mechanical
support so you do not want something that could be considered "soft" or
"Squishy". I would think file folder material would be MUCH better. If you
tighten the bolts tight enough to make sure the cork gasket doesn't get leaky
with the actuation of the pump, you will bend the mounting flange of the pump
and it never will seal. Just like the overtightened bottom plate of an HIF6
carb or a sheetmetal valve cover. You need to keep the mating surfaces FLAT.
