Scan Tech seals from IPD: Ok to use??

Heya everyone!
For my timing belt project I ordered parts from both IPD and FCP. Most of the stuff was from FCP since they are relatively less expensive than IPD and You get the option of choosing manufacturers. Since I was ordering the polyurethane accessory-mount bushings from IPD I also ordered the front crankshaft oil seal from them because they were cheaper than FCP. IPD doesn't usually list maufactures but I generally trust them. The camshaft and layshaft seals are from Elring which I think are good quality; however the Crankshaft seal they sent me is from SCAN-TECH. Oh no Says I. I never put scantech parts on my brick but its just a round rubber seal, What could go wrong right?! Is the scan tech part Ok to Use? Or should I return it along with the Bosch (shoulda went with bougicord) ignition wires that do not fit the spark plugs on my 240??
Wassup with IPD anyhow?
