I agree that it's great to have the choke move so freely, and I also agree that it sounds like an annoyance.

Not sure, but is it possible to "bind" something at the pivot point of the cable assembly under the dash? Just to create more friction at the choke knob location as opposed to working at the carbs.

Just an idea.
