All brake lights out, CC out & Bulb Failure bulb removed 200

Am a newby to this fine forum, & I've got a problem I may have created myself!

This forum gave me the info and confidence to replace the heating/cooling fan motor. This of course, is like open heart dashboard surgery. Am proud to say I completed this task in 12 hours (about average according to this forum).

My bulb failure light had been flickering and bugging me so I had the brilliant notion to remove this bulb whilst I had the dash all torn apart.

Well now the fan motor works quietly, but the CC and all the brake lights don't work.

My question is could removal of the tiny Bulb Failure bulb cause these symptoms?
Or did I bump something else under the dash?

Fuse is good, all connections appear solid under dash around foot pedal area.

Thanks for any input.
Stephen!
