Suspension Lubrication... 120-130 1967

Hello All:

1967 Volvo 122S Wagon. Well, my first attempt to tune the HS6's went shockingly well. After chasing a few problems it is running better than ever. Thanks to everyone for the advice, and I do plan to rebush the throttle bodies soon. Even so, idling, fast idling, acceleration, all is well.

And as so often happens with our lovely older cars, the minute I got it all working a nasty squeak announced itself. Granted, there was quite a bit of rain and overall humidity for the last week, but still this is pretty bad. I have traced the source to the lower support arm of the driver's side front wheel where it connects to the frame. I have not lubricated the suspension of this car since I bought it a bit more than a year ago so:

1) how should I stop this squeak, and

2) what are the various lubricants I should collect to give the entire car a pre-winter rubdown?

Cheers,

Jeff Pucillo
