This is a blown head gasket, right? 700 1988

(gotta mention that I'm not a car person, so please talk down to me!) I have a 740 turbo with 315K on it. For months it's had problems with excessive pressure in the cooling system. Had to replace a bunch of hoses and the water pump - the mechanic opened the overflow tank while the car was still warm, and it was bubbling over still after all this work on it. Yesterday one of the new hoses developed a small crack, and now the coolant has oil in it. It seems to run the same as ever, and today I let it idle for a half hour and it didn't leak at all (or overheat) until I turned it off. It's not blowing any smoke and there's not any coolant in the oil. I'm thinking that the car has to go....but looking for some more educated opinions.
