Stuff I need for my 74 164E 140-160

Dear Sara,

During my days in OKC, I used to frequent this salvage yard...Pull-A-Part to source parts for my 74 144. Parts are relatively cheap but not always available. In all my visits, there was always a 164 there, circa 74-75, and most of the time, they were intact, with lots of parts available. One similarity between them is the dreaded BW-35 transmission, which IMO was what got them there in the first place. Alternatively, 244's are always in abundance, especially early models, from which you might get your door rubber, taillights, etc. No rims, though. Try E-Bay, you could find rims there at a good price.

Hope this helps.
