turn signal / flasher / blinkers ---- not working all of a sudden. what is the problem? 900

Hey guys, this is for my beloved '94 945T. Just driving home when the turn signal "flasher/flashing" quit working. No fooling the problem with the lights on or off, either. The bulbs light and light brightly (in the blink mode) when the turn signal is selected for that side.

I checked the FAQ an couldn't find anything on this. It sounds like a "flasher" problem to me. But wanted to check with the experts, first.
