I just did the water technique followed with Seafoam. Big difference. I would add, after the water/seafoam then use some type of motor flush. Follow the directions exactly. Then change oil and filter. Engine much quieter, no idle lope,,etc. Just do the procedure exactly, don't add/subtract anything. Oh, if you haven't cleaned your ICV/throttle body first/adjust, etc..Do that first.
