OD into '63 210 Questions. 444-544

I've got an M41 with J OD to put into my 210. I'm planning to keep the long shifter, and I've checked the flanges to be sure they are the same size. I want to keep this as stock looking as possible.

The plan roughly is to:

1. Pull M40
2. Measure M40 and M41 from output face to flange to figure how much to have the front half of driveshaft shortened.
3. Cut trans tunnel even with floor from wide area where M40 currently lives back to where the flange of the M41 will be.
4. Test fit M41 to see how much of the floor will have to be cut out.
5. Cut floor and fit part of the tunnel that I cut out of parts 1800.
6. Reinstall the shortened driveshaft.
7. Wire up latching relay to activate OD.
8. Drive at freeway speeds without running 4200 rpm.

Since I've planned this by just eyeballing the parts I'm sure I've overlooked some snags, I do have some questions.

1. Anyone put together a website on this?
2. Does the stock trans mount fit between the trans/OD? It looks very tight.
3. The turnsignal switch seems to have a pull back feature like for a headlight dimmer, can this be used for a momentary contact ground to activate my latching relay?
4. Any words of wisdom from someone who has done this.

I have fairly good fabrication/mechanical skills and all the tools I could possibly need for this, I just really want to keep from making any mistakes on this rare old bird.
Thanks in advance.
