Winshield Wipers on '82 245

The wipers on my '82 wagon aren't working. Front and rear.

I took the motor out, took it apart and cleaned it. The care taken in assembling the motor is impressive. I can't believe the quality they put into the wiper motor!

Anyway, I jumped power to the motor and it works fine. It should, as the brushes looked fine and the magnets were in place.

On the wiper switch, the pumps for the front and rear sprayers work and that makes me think the relays are ok as I read on here somewhere that the relay is only used for intermittent wiping.

The contacts look ok on the column switch. Oh yeah, the fuse is ok too.

Any suggestions?
