940 Turbo Vibrate at Idle & Fan Belt Break 900

Thanks to everyone for your help from time to time. My 945T is well tuned by my shop guy - but it has developed quite a noticeable vibration at lower RPM eg. at idle in gear. I have also had two alternator belts break while driving over the past 18 months. Tension has been checked etc. by shop and mechanic is going to look over other things next time it is in. Until then, can anyone suggest what might be causing this? Its particularly noticeable when idling if the A/C is on. It worries me that something is going on to stress the belts and I'll get stranded again.

Is there something that boosts the idle when the engine is under load (e.g. when A/C is on) to compensate? Any suggestions appreciated.

Regards,
Scott
