I've found it's quite a battle to install the alternator/waterpump belts on B230 engines. The alternator doesn't swing far enough towards the engine block to allow the standard size (918mm) belts to slide over the pulleys. I've been thinking of trying the 925 mm belts specified for B21/23 engines. Has anyone tried this? Any problems? Thanks...
