I was searching previous posts on this topic as I am sure it has been discussed before, but can't find anything.

I need to remove the inside door handles (so I can remove the inside door panel to fix the innards). I cannot remove the clippy thing that holds the handle on to the hub (or I fear I will wreck things in doing so). There must be some very simple magic technique involved which escapes my 7 years of mechanical engineering training.

Thanks all - the forum has helped me alot to bring my volvo back to life.
