You can use a regular screw driver to pry the thing open and a middle size
jeweler's screwdriver, sharpened piano wire hook or an IPD special tool to
remove the clip. The harder you pry the thing open the harder it will be
to get the clip out. Careful you don't lose it!! Forget engineering and
revert to animal cunning.
